Return Policy

How long do I have to return/exchange?

All returns / exchanges must be submitted within 30 days after delivery. Items must be in new condition (no stains, original packaging, not washed, etc).

How long will the return/exchange take?

As soon as you initiate a return or exchange through our Returns Center and drop it off with the carrier, you can expect to receive your refund or have your exchange initiated within 1-2 business days after we receive the item.

Important note: it is not guaranteed that the item you are exchanging for will be in stock at the time of exchange once we receive your returned item.

What will the return / exchange cost me?

Returns for domestic orders will be charged $5 for return shipping. This will be deducted from the refund when it is processed. You will receive a shipping label at the end of the returns process paid for by us.

Exchanges are free of charge and we will cover all shipping costs for you to ship the item to us and the cost to ship the new item to you. You will receive a shipping label at the end of the returns process paid for by us.

Is there anything I can’t return?

Yes, just a few things. Final Sale Items are not eligible for return or exchange. These will be clearly marked at time of purchase. Additionally, used items are not eligible for return or exchange. Items must be in new condition (no stains, original packaging, not washed, etc).

All returns/exchanges will be inspected upon receipt and returns are not guaranteed unless these terms are met and damaged items will be returned back to the customer.

How fast are orders shipped out?

All Maven Thread orders are shipped out within 1-2 business days and typically arrive 3-5 days after that for standard domestic shipping. Allow 2-3 weeks for international orders. Tracking info is provided once the shipment has been shipped out by our fulfillment center. Please contact us at hello@maventhread.com if you have any issues. Due to impacts from COVID 19, we do occasionally have delays longer than our expected timelines which are unavoidable and out of our control.

Please be sure to double check your shipping address PRIOR to placing your order. Once the order is placed we can not guarantee that we will be able to change the shipping address before shipping takes place as our warehouse is fulfilling orders continuously throughout the day. Any additional shipping charges as a result of an incorrect address will be the responsibility of the customer.
